Circumstances of Disappearance
Chan's husband, Bruce Chan, was in the military, and had dropped her off at their home, at 1565 SW Lava Avenue, the morning of March 27, 1989 before returning to his station.
Two days later, on March 29, 1989, her car was found parked along the side of US Highway 126, near Redmond, Oregon.

Her purse was not in the vehicle, which still had fuel in the tank.
Angela Chan was reported missing by family members on this same day.
No one has seen her since.
