Case History

The victim was located by a man walking his dog in some woods along an abandoned set of railroad tracks in South Bend, Indiana on June 9, 1985.
St. Joseph County Police Department uniform officers were dispatched to an exit in the 52900 US 31 North approximately 600 feet north of Cleveland Road in South Bend, behind what used to be the Howard Johnson Motel on State Road 933.
The victim was not believed to have been murdered in that location.
