David is a seasonal employee for the U.S. Sedona Forest Service, and an experienced hiker. He was last seen by coworkers on May 19 at the Beaver Creek ranger station. He left a note that evening at the station saying he was going hiking in the Red Rock/Secret Mountain Wilderness Area.
He never returned from a two and a half day hiking trip.
He possibly fell on slippery terrain.
