Donna was last seen on November 9, 1968. She and a male friend spent the afternoon visiting friends in the Kief area. Later that evening, they went to a bar in Kief, where they stayed until midnight. Witnesses saw them leave together. The friend claimed he dropped Donna off outside the house were her ex-husband and children were living in Bute. Donna was also living in Butte. Donna never went inside her ex-husband's home, and she hasn't been seen since her disappearance.
Donna was reported missing by her daughter on December 27, 1968. Donna had left town in the past for extended periods of time, so her family did not realize right away that she was missing.
Donna's missing date has also been reported as November 2 and November 7.
An arial search of the area was made the following April with no results.
