Vital Statistics

  • Estimated age: 30-50 years old
  • Approximate Height and Weight: 5'7"; 177 lbs.
  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Black hair; brown eyes. He may be Korean or Chinese. 1 cm scar on left index finger; scar on left forearm 4 cm.
  • Clothing: Brown leather belt; brown shoes; green shirt; green jacket; beige Docker pants.
  • Personal Effects: Found in his possession was a medical bag with the name on it being Park, Sang Dae. (Other name alternatives were Park, Seng Dae and Cheron, Dung).

Case History
The victim was found at the Northbrook Inn in Grand Rapids, Manitoba on May 9, 2003.
He had checked in under the name of Deuong Cheronat 3:30 after arriving on the Bus from Thompson. At 18:00 cleaning staff entered his room to find him deceased in a chair.
The victim did not have any identification.
Numerous checks were made with a variety of agencies in an attempt to determine the man's identity.
Foul play is not suspected.
