• Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown hair, 6" long with fine texture; long beard, measuring 1 1/2-2"; mustache.
• Clothing: Green ribbed, calf length socks ; polo shirt, size medium, short sleeve Lord & Taylor.  Blue denim jacket lined with red pile, size 40,  regular brand name Dickies and made in Mexico. 1 black belt with large normal brass buckle, measuring 39 inches, and a pair of blue jeans by Levi Strauss & Co., waist 31 inches and length 32. Dark blue athletic type shoes with white side panels, size 10.
• Personal Effects: Blue handkerchief with butterfly pattern in white; a two blade knife with wooden handle, 1 blade like a screwdriver with arc-like depression on dull edge; papermate pen with silver-like top and red bottom of barrel (complimentary from Richard E. Frank-Geiger Bros). A silver ID bracelet (Stg. A Co. inscribed), a small buckle, and a black comb.

• Dentals: Available; #1 occlusive, #8 chip right toward cutting edge, #9 and #10 small caries mid liguinal dorsal, #15 cavity dorsal, #16 cavity mesial-tiny cavity occlusive, #17 occlusive cavity toward the buccal aspect, #19 decay-fragmented into two pieces-crown absent, and #30 small caries (block) occlusive dorsal.

Case History
The victim was found floating in the river by Lock personnel at Lock and Dam 13 Southend 4th gate on west side, in Fort Smith, Arkansas on May 12, 1983.

There is a possibility that this victim might have floated from Oklahoma on the Arkansas River considering that this location is only 4 miles from the Oklahoma and Arkansas state line.

There are also several homeless camps close to the river.
