Vital Statistics

  • Estimated age: 35-41 years old
  • Approximate Height and Weight: 5'1"-5'7".
  • Clothing: Blue athletic shorts made by the Champion Co. At the left leg of the shorts there is a design, NYAC (symbol of New York Athletic Club) with a winged foot under that. Remnant of Bluebird by Schiesser underwear. Size 5, possibly European size. Size 11 (Right) white New Balance sneaker, ENCAP II 998. Green/Yellow trim. Manufactured in 1993 and stopped manufacture in 1995.

Case History
On June 9, 1999 hikers found a New Balance runner's sneaker with a sock and foot in it on the shore of Lake Ontario at Mud Bay.
On September 3, 2000 a hiker found a human torso on Grenadier Island in Lake Ontario, Jefferson County, NY. DNA of both remains match.
Head Not Recovered, Limbs Not Recovered, Hands Not Recovered.

Police believe the victim jumped ship, or somehow fell from a ship passing through the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway. Autopsy results indicate no evidence of ''dismemberment attempts.
