Circumstances of Disappearance
In November 1994, William Sandige and his wife Isabel were in the process of obtaining a divorce. A court in Phoenix, Arizona, issued an order that neither parent could remove their two children, William Jr., and Margaret, from the U.S. without permission of both parents. But Isabel did just that. On November 22nd, 1994, she took both children from a local Phoenix school and, later, abducted them to Mexico.

Isabel Felix Leon, Abductor

A Felony Warrant for Kidnapping was issued for the abductor on 8/29/95. Isabel Felix Leon was born on February 24th, 1957, in Culiacan, Mexico. A Hispanic female, she is 5'2" (157 cm.) tall and weighs 125 lbs. (54 kg.). She has brown hair and brown eyes. Leon has worked as a bail bondsman and private investigator. She was trained as an attorney in Mexico. She speaks English and Spanish fluently. She and the abducted children are believed to be in Mexico.
She speaks English with a strong accent and she also speaks Spanish. She may have silver streaks in her hair. She also may use the names Isabel Leon Felix or Isabel L. Sandige.
