- Distinguishing Characteristics: Black hair. Previous orthopedic procedure in the left knee area - surgical staple reads "EFPHA".
- Clothing: Pullover shirt with "North Carolina State Wolfpack", size L; Brittania jeans (31 X 30); red boxer shorts; long underwear, size L (38-40); and a black right high top shoe, size 9.
- Personal Effects: Cigarette lighter, black Timex watch with inscription of "Iron Man", and one pierced stud earring.
- Fingerprints: A single partial print is available for comparison.
- DNA: Nuclear and mtDNA profile uploaded to FBI CODIS
- Dentals: Occlusal amalgam on 32
Case History
The victim was located in Willow Springs, North Carolina on November 27, 1996.
The body of this man was found in a soybean field about 30 feet from the site of an auto accident that occurred on September 20, 1996, on Old Stage Road.
Two people from the accident were found safely. There was supposed to be a third person in the vehicle; this person was never found. The two people found in the vehicle have refused to identify the 3rd victim.
