Vital Statistics

  • Estimated age: 28 - 38 years old
  • Approximate Height and Weight: 5' 5" - 5' 7".
  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Healed fracture of right fibula; healed fracture of occipital bone.
  • Dentals: Available; natural with some restorations; tooth #19 partial restoration; defects of #14 & 30; recently missing tooth #18; missing tooth #31; all wisdom teeth erupted.
  • Clothing: Remnants of a pair of "Arizona" jeans and Fruit-of-the-Loom briefs, size small (31-32).


Case History
The victim was located in Cleveland County, North Carolina on September 22, 1999.
The body of this man was found when landowners off of Union Church Road were clearing their property for a new home. The wooded area had been cleared during the summer of 1996 and no one had been back there since that time. The property was approximately 1 mile from the nearest road and difficult to get to.
A total of 121 bones and a single strand of dark hair were recovered.
