- Estimated age: 25 - 35 years old; dental age 30 - 40.
- Approximate Height and Weight: 5' 5".
- Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown hair; slight to medium build.
- Dentals: Available. Teeth #16, 17 missing ante-mortem; class I occlusion; mild periodontal disease; teeth #2, 3, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 28-31 had amalgam restorations; all dental work appears to have been done by a single dentist; was seen by a dentist within 1 1/2 years prior to death.
- Clothing: White turtleneck shirt (size 18, chest 34); cotton undershirt (size 38-40); one navy blue t-shirt (size 18, chest 34); pair of jeans (W30 X L32); one pair of white thermal underwear (size 34-36); small size briefs (size 30-32); and a white handkerchief.

Case History
The victim was located in a wooded area off of US 301, 4 miles north of Rowland in Robeson County, North Carolina on March 20, 1980.
Evidence located at the scene includes items from a Ramada Inn located in Lumberton, North Carolina, approximately 10 miles north of the deceased man's location.
