Hahn wears glasses. He has a mental condition and is sometimes forgetful. Life-long Smoker.
He was left handed, and tended to wear his wristwatch on the right wrist.
(an artificial repair made to his aorta, due to an aneurysm). He also has a 2" scar on the left side of his chin/cheek.
Circumstances of Disappearance
John S. Hahn, a resident of San Diego, California, was last seen in the
Laughlin, Nevada area during a trip there in late June 1989.
Being 75 years old at the time, he experienced difficulty walking for more than a short distance, and had symptoms of dementia. Hahn's car, a 1979 white Mercury
Marquis, was found abandoned (with rear wheels buried up to the axle in the
soft sand, windows rolled down and a full fuel tank) in the remote, rugged
desert (where no passenger car would normally go) perhaps 100 yards from
the Colorado River, in a location several miles south of Laughlin, off the
"River Road / Needles Highway", in July 1989.
He has been declared legally dead.
