• Distinguishing Characteristics: Biracial male. (Black/Hispanic) Black hair; brown eyes.
• Marks, Scars: He has an appendectomy scar on his abdomen and a scratch on his left cheek. His left ear is pierced. He has a scar on his left ankle.
• Clothing: Cadenas was wearing a red t-shirt, jeans and a diamond earring in his left ear at the time of his disappearance, no shoes.
• Dentals: Available

Circumstances of Disappearance
Cadenas was last seen leaving his family's home in a trailer park in Miami, Florida on May 11, 1994. His mother told authorities that he left their home after she threatened to punish him for not taking a shower. He also was upset because his mother hit his stepfather over the head with a bottle. She said the boy left a note: "I'm leaving you because you hit my daddy."

The child's biological father is dead -- killed by Ohio police in July during a shootout after a grocery store holdup.
