Walker was last seen around 11:30 p.m. on June 19 at West Winds Trailer Park on U.S. 41 East in East Naples with his friends, the Stacys. Reports say Don Stacy found him intoxicated and drove him to their trailer to sleep it off. One of the friends drove his car, a 1979 light blue "Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme." When they got there, Stacy left Walker in the car, since he had passed out, and tossed the car keys under the front seat.
Sometime during the night, Walker came in and slept on the sofa. His friends told deputies he was gone when they awakened. Deputies couldn't get a time frame on when he may have left the house nor when his friends went to bed that night. There were no fights or disagreements with anyone that night, but there was a rifle in the back seat of Walker's car. Walker's car and weapon have never been recovered. Foul play is suspected. Possible location of body assumed to be either in Florida or on route of Collier County Florida to Texas. Brownsville, Springville or Corpus Christi being a possibility. Also possibly near a cemetery with the letter M being involved. The rifle is a 1989 Marlin 330 (30/30), 336CS, serial # 12087456, cross groove barrel, mounted scope, camouflage carrying case, purchased from "Walmart" on approximately 02-22-89.
