The partial skull of this unidentified man was discovered on November 9, 2005 on an embankment of the Delaware River on Mond Island in Greenwich Township, New Jersey by an inspector with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection who was checking the area for residual oil from a tanker spill.
The skull was found about 10 feet from the Delaware River. It is possible that the person committed suicide by jumping from the Commodore Barry Bridge or the Delaware Memorial Bridge.
