The decedent was struck and killed by a car while crossing I-35 East in Lake Dallas, Texas on June 15, 1983.
He was a transient, apparently passing through the area. A traveling companion met him in Georgia and they traveled to Denton County. The other man did not know his real name but apparently called him Wolfman or Thumper.
Dewayne V. Honey does not appear to be his real name and may be an alias. No information was ever found to establish his identity. The SSN has been assigned to a woman in South Carolina since 1970.
