Circumstances of Disappearance
Bernadette was last seen at 10:30am on January 1, 1987, by her husband at their residence. At the time, she stated she was going to the corner to buy some cigarettes, meaning the Belfield Hotel. She didn't return that night.
She has a history of disappearing for several days, but the longest has only been six days. She was seeing a psychologist for this reason and was taking medication. On leaving she did not take any of her medication and if not taken she becomes epileptic.
