Circumstances of Disappearance
Martine suddenly disappeared from her foster home in Montmercy, France in September 1979.
Her disappearance has been linked to the disappearances of six other young women from the Auxerre area. They all had slight learning difficulties and attended the same special education centre in Auxerre.Madelaine Dejust, Chantal Gras, Bernadette Lemoine, Francoise Lemoine, Christine Marlot and Jacqueline Weis. They may have been victims of a serial killer.
