Circumstances of Disappearance
Kay left her home at 6.30 pm on 27 July, 1979. She went to the home of Toni Cavanagh. Both girls left there at 7.30pm on the pretext they were due to babysit. Instead, they had intended to go into Wollongong. They have not been seen since. A letter had been received by parents post marked Darlinghurst on 1 August 1979.
