Circumstances of Disappearance
Sherry was last seen at her home on Christmas Eve night in the area of Ocala, Florida called Scattertown.
Petersen was to come to her parents home in Lakeland, Florida for Christmas.

At the last minute, she sent her children and told her mom she would call her first thing Christmas morning. She has not been seen or heard from since.
