Circumstances of Discovery

The victim's nude body was discovered lying in a city street in Mount Vernon, approximately 10 miles north of Manhattan, New York at 11:54 AM.

She was bound at the wrists and ankles, and her body appeared to be in a posed position. Her neck also bore ligature marks.

Autopsy results indicated the victim had cocaine and broccoli in her stomach.

Police suspect she may have been the victim of a serial killer and could have been a prostitute.

There was a possibility the woman was foreign to the United States. One existing theory is the possibility that she may have belonged to a group of Brazillian immigrants in the area.
