Circumstances of Disappearance
Kimberly was abducted, together with her sister Kelly, by their noncustodial mother, Elaine C. Yates. The mother has now been placed in the National Computer as a missing person/endangered.

A felony warrant for Child Snatching was issued for the abductor on November 16, 1988.
