McClary was vacationing with his wife at Lost Arrow Resort in Gladwin County, MI. He is orginally from Reno, NV. He had never been to Michigan before and would be unfamiliar with the area. He was last seen at 6:30 p.m. on July 2, 2001 when he expressed an interest in going swimming in the Tittabawasee River. McClary left his prescription glasses in the cabin and did not have his Parkinson's Disease medication with him. He has not been seen nor heard from since.
