Several tattoos including a large bird, possibly a phoenix or peacock, on his right shoulder, with a long feather and a couple of flowers and no color; John in cursive on his right upper chest; and an old English script E or F on the inside of his left forearm.

A passerby walking down the road found the victim wrapped in a carpet remnant and a blanket on the side of the road.
In August 2004, Steven Leon Andrews, 26, was arrested and charged with capital murder of the unidentified man.
Investigators believe the victim was from Texas and the motive for the killing was robbery.
