Circumstances of Disappearance
Kamau Jawara was last seen on June 4, 1999. He lived in a group home on North Miro Street at the time, where he seemed to be doing well.
On June 4, 1999 he got onto a bus with other residents for a routine checkup. The bus stopped at the clinic. Jawara stayed in his seat, waving and smiling at the other residents as the bus pulled away. That was the last his family heard of him.
He is in need of medication.
