Walcott disappeared from Reseda, California on April 29, 1986. Walcott left her aunt's apartment shortly before noon, and walked the two blocks up Sherman Way to a 7-11 convenience market to drop off a job application.
She then walked next door to Sav-on , picked up an application and took it over to Winchell's Donuts to meet two girlfriends and fill out the form. The application never got dropped off, and Walcott never made it back to her aunt's apartment. Foul play is suspected.
