A skull was discovered on private property near the intersection of Highways 28 and D. The lower jaw was not found.
The anthropological report was unable to determine the gender of the remains or the time of death, but it is estimated that the child had been deceased at least one year prior to discovery. The child was likely an admixture of Native American, Hispanic, Latino, and Mexican.
According to tests done by the Department of Physics at the University of Arizona-Tucson in 2016, the child had died between 1967 and 1970.
