Casey lived with her mother Barbara, baby sister Stacy and mother's boyfriend Jonathan Poile at a house in North Delta. They had just recently moved there. On the evening of August 5, 1989, the family had returned home from a barbecue at Casey's Aunt's home in Coquitlam. Casey was put to bed.
Sometime between 2am and 9am Casey disappeared.
Bohun's biological father who lived in Saskatoon, is the only person who has been ruled out as a suspect after being cleared through the use of a polygraph test.
