Circumstances of Disappearance
Dalton and her daughter, Allyson Kathleen Dalton, were last seen alive on the morning of July 27, 1998, by family members, at 07:50 a.m.

Allyson is missing, abducted, from the scene of an apartment complex in Strasburg where her mother's body was found. Sylenna Jo Dalton, 20, was found, stabbed to death, in her apartment at 175 S. Charles St Apt. B-8, Strasburg, Virginia. A friend discovered the body around 14:25.
