• Marks, Scars: Hay has freckles across the bridge of her nose. She has one small freckle between her right thigh and her pelvis.
• Clothing: At the time of her disappearance, Jackie was wearing a white top with orange flowers and blue pants.
• Dentals: Available. Hay had a small cavity between her upper front teeth at the time of her disappearance.
• DNA: Available.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Hay's family discovered that she was missing as they prepared to gather for an outing on September 12, 1981 in Shawnee County, Kansas.
Searches of the area produced little in the way of evidence as to Hay's whereabouts.
The only information police had to go on was given to them by a Gas Service man who saw Jackie following a man.
