Humphrey Albert Wilkinson
Missing since January 23, 1957 from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada
Classification: Missing
Vital Statistics
Circumstances of Disappearance
Humphrey "Albert" Wilkinson was last seen at his workplace January 23, 1957 where he failed to pick-up his last paycheque. He was subsequently reported missing January 29, 1957 and
has not been seen or heard from since. At the time of his disapperance, Albert worked at Martin Paper Co. in New Westminster and was also a part-time commercial fisherman.
Albert lived alone in North Surrey with his dog. Albert left behind his wallet and identification at his house, but police determined that his rifle and dog were missing. Police believed that Albert had a strong
idea to tour the world and possibly joined the Canadian army or found work outside the Greater Vancouver. Extensive investigation, however, showed Albert had not joined the Canadian forces or contacted any employment
agencies. Extensive media advertising by his family over the years has also turned up nothing.
