Debra Horgan was last seen in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 29, 1997. She had been hired for a job at the Budget 8 Motel but never showed up for work.
On June 21, almost two months later, her white 1976 Ford Thunderbird was found in the west side of Albuquerque on Fortwna Road and West Coors Boulevard, abandoned and vandalized; it looked like it had been in an accident.
A photograph of the car as it was found is posted below. Clothing, bags, tennis shoes, and broken glass was scattered all over the back seat and floorboards of the Thunderbird .
