Circumstances of Disappearance
On February 19, 1984, Andrea Wharton left her Gold Coast residence to visit friends at Byron Bay, New South Wales.

She contacted family by phone and forwarded a letter a couple of days later stating she was confused and was staying away for a month longer.

She has failed to contact family or friends ever since.
