Case History
The partially decomposed body of an unidentified man was found in the Mississippi River approximately 300 yards
north of the I-494 bridge on April 5, 1987.
The body was originally recovered near the Amour Meat Packing Complex in South St. Paul (the Amour plant no longer
exists and has been replaced by local businesses).
The body was in the water for a minimum of 2 weeks to as long as 6 months .
