Circumstances of Discovery

The victim was discovered by a woman walking her dog. Her skeletal remains were in a garbage bag partially buried in the sand. The bag was weathered and had tree roots and vegetation growing into it. The location is a secluded beach/sandy area off of Sheep Ln in Lattington along the Long Island Sound.

Because of the pig pendant she was wearing, some speculate it may be referencing an Asian culture, "The Year of the Pig," and she may have died at age 29.

Additionally, authorities speculate that she was buried before Hurricane Sandy hit on October 29, 2012 and she may have been a possible victim of the Long Island Serial Killer (LISK). This victim's body was discovered 32 miles from ten bodies connected to the case that were found in and around Gilgo Beach. Between 1996-2013, the LISK was responsible for up to sixteen homicides of people mainly associated with prostitution in Long Island.

Confirmed and speculated unidentified victims include: 151UFNY, 1019UFNY, 1047UFNY, 605UFNY, 1323UFNY, and 2864UMNY

The killings remain unsolved despite several suspects being considered.
