Circumstances of Disappearance
Eryn McClary was last seen the evening of August 4, 1995 at approximately 20:45.
At that time she was dropped off by a relative near the Jesco Club at West 3rd Avenue and Blair Street in the Whiteaker neighborhood of Eugene. When last seen, Eryn was alone.
Eryn was a prostitute and drug user who was well known, and well liked, in the Whiteaker neighborhood. It is still unclear if Eryn planned on working that evening or not. She did miss a planned meeting with friends later that evening, and she missed a more formal appointment the next day. Despite her lifestyle, Eryn’s disappearance was very unusual and foul play is probable.
