Circumstances of Disappearance
Uden was last leaving her mother's residence with her two sons, Richard and Reagan Uden in the vicinity of the 700 block of N. Federal Court in Riverton, WY around 13:30. Their vehicle was later located, abandoned and vandalized, in the Wind River Canyon area in Fremont County, WY on October 4, 1980 and traces of Virginia Uden's blood were found inside the vehicle. They were believed to have been traveling to the boys' adoptive father's residence.
