Distinguishing Marks/Features: Surgical scar on the bone over the right eye. The bone in the upper orbit of the right eye was found to have a fracture repair made with surgical wire. "Unusually" protruding chin. He suffered from cirrhosis, indicitive of alcoholism.
Dentals: Not available. All his teeth had been extracted within a year before his death.
Fingerprints: Available.
DNA: Available.
Clothing: Structure-type blue jeans, white jockey type under shorts, Fruit of the Loom brand, size: small, a brown belt (overall length is 38" with wear mark at 33".
Jewelry: Maroon, nylon-strap watch band, watch outer frame present, but the inside case and face were gone. 16.5" necklace with metal clasp and possibly made up of onyx and silver beads.
Additional Personal Items: Unknown.
The decedent was found in the Great Miami River in Butler County, Ohio on May 18, 1997. Investigators suspect the man might be a hit-and-run victim.
The DNA Doe Project became involved in his case in 2019.
