Circumstances of Disappearance
Hilscher was last seen in Bloomington, Texas on April 8, 1995.

Hilscher was Victoria basketball coach at Bloomington High School.

On the morning of April 10, 1995, the coach was reported missing by his father from his Bloomington residence on Black Bayou Road  to the Victoria County Sheriff's Office.

Later that day, a bloody T-shirt and underwear were found by volunteer searchers on Old Bloomington Road, about 1 1/2. Foul play is suspected.
