Hall was last seen at Redondo Beach, CA on July 8, 1979, while hitchhiking. Convicted serial killers Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris confessed to her abduction and homicide. She has never been located. Homicide reportedly took place on a remote fire road in the San Gabriel Mountains, overlooking Glendora.
