  • Case History

The victim's skeletal remains were found in a green nylon bag in a shallow grave in the vicinity of the 300 block off of "F" Road, just north of Southern Boulevard.

It's unclear how she was slain, but the killer sliced off her fingerprints. That led investigators to believe that the killer knew the victim well and worried that he or she could easily be linked to the crime if the body is ever identified.

Investigators compared the skeleton to more than a thousand missing persons cases from across the country but could not find a match.

In July 2013, she was identified as 17-year-old Tina Marie Beebe via a dental comparison.
