Kay was last seen by her husband, Gilbert Hine. Hine allegedly dropped his wife off at the Palmetto Agricultural Center so she could work on a poultry exhibit for the county fair. Kay never arrived at the agricultrual center.
Kay left behind her purse, prescription glasses, as well as her medication.
Five days after she was last seen, her father and daughter-in-law reported her missing.
Two of her children, now grown, believe that she was murdered. Foul play is suspected.
