- Distinguishing Characteristics: He had black hair, brown eyes and a medium/dark complexion. He shaved his upper lip only.
- Distinguishing Marks: He had small moles to lower face and a 2" scar on his left elbow.
- Clothing: He was wearing a blue down jacket with EXPLORER logo, 34" blue jeans of a Mexican label, a plaid cowboy type shirt and CONVERSE Hightops.

- Dentals: Available His teeth were in perfect condition, he had no restorations.

The victim was struck by freeway traffic apparently trying to dash across the eight-lane San Diego (I-5) Freeway to avoid an immigration checkpoint on May 17, 1992.
