  • Skeletal remains. Manner of death was homicide.

    Vital Statistics

    • Estimated age: 18 - 25 years old. Birth date range is 1965-1972.
    • Approximate Height and Weight: 5'2 - 5'4"; 110 - 115 pounds.
    • Distinguishing Characteristics: Black hair. The autopsy revealed that she had given birth at some point.
    • Dentals: Several of her teeth had been pulled.
    • Clothing: She was wearing a Sears' men's blue pullover short-sleeved shirt with white / tan horizontal stripes and a collar, size medium; blue / gray Land's End slacks, 27-inch waist; and a brown leather belt with plastic studs (see photos below).

    Case History
    The victim was located in the woods along Canal Road near the Interstate 95 exit leading to Golden Isles Parkway in Glynn County, Georgia. A man walking in the woods of a private hunting club found her scattered bones in thick underbrush 37 feet away from Canal Road. She lay roughly a mile and a half from Exit 8.
    The woman's body had apparently been dumped at the site - probably by someone who pulled off I-95 then turned down the first accessible dirt road they saw - Canal Road.
    Her body was deposited in the woods between June 16, 1990 and June 27, 1990.
