Andrew was last seen at 8:30 a.m. as he was heading down Littlemoor Lane, Balby, Doncaster pretending to head to school. After his parents left for work, Andrew returned home, changed out of his uniform and into a black "Slipknot" band t-shirt and jeans. He emptied his bank account of £200, and without leaving a note, went to Doncaster station and bought a one-way ticket to London King's Cross. It is believed he boarded a train at Doncaster Railway Station at 9:35 a.m., arriving at London King's Cross Station at 11:20 a.m. He is seen on CCTV footage at the station, there are no confirmed sightings after that.
On December 8, 2021, two men were arrested in London on suspicion of kidnap and human trafficking. At this time, police haven't released details other than the two men are connected with the disappearance of Andrew.
