Gardaí at Mayorstone Station in Limerick are trying to tracing the whereabouts of 22 year old Patrick O'Donoghue from Knocknacrohy, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick. Patrick was a fourth year student at the Limerick Institute of Technology. He was last seen on the 9th of January, 2000 at Whitethorn Drive, Caherdavin Heights, Limerick, where he was renting accommodation. The last time he was seen was seen was when his father dropped him off to go into Limerick in the bus, for college. He is described as being 5'8" in height, of slim build with a pale complexion, short dark brown hair and blue/green eyes. Law enforcement found a potential suicide note saying "‘Dear Lord God take me back in time and give me a second chance’...signed Patrick O’Donoghue.". However a suicide expert, Professor Ella Aaernsman, world president of Suicide Research, says this note is not a suicide note. His disappearance occurred around the same time of the high profile disappearances of Aengus Shanahan and Desmond Walsh, two former employees of Dell, who were “definitely murdered” according to former London-based policewoman, Catherine Costelloe. He had several part time jobs at the time : her mother think he might have worked with an auctioneer and pub, and in a fish and chip shop.
