Circumstances of Discovery

Between October 28 and November 18 of 1995, the remains of an unidentified male were found at Sollahoona Bog, Spiddal, Co. Galway, Ireland. The individual was approximately 25 years old. Only some parts of the skeletons have been found : skull discovered on 28/10/1995 and rest of remains discovered on 18/11/1995. Skull, sternum, two clavicles, two scapula, two humerus, 16 vertebral bones (4 lumbar 8 thoracic and 4 cervica)l, 15 ribs, one metacarpel bone, one fibula and two femurs. The post mortem was performed on November 19, 1995. He has been buried in Bothair Mor Graveyard, in Galway.
