On Saturday, April 24, 2010, a discovery was made in the Charleroi-Antwerp canal, near the Buda bridge along the Vilvoordsesteenweg in Neder-over-Heembeek. Around 4 o'clock in the afternoon a floating package was found, a plastic bag, tightly sealed with an orange tape. The wrap contained the body of an unknown man. He could not be identified yet.
