On 23rd April 1976 Sandy and his sister were being looked after by their grandmother when he told his grandmother that the family dog had ran away.
Despite advice not to Sandy went to look for the dog and has not been seen since.
A neighbour reported he saw Sandy leaving in a car with a man. Sandy didn't look to be in distress and the neighbour thought nothing of it.
