On 20 October 1995 Oxana left Bonn together with her grandfather, Wiktor Iwanowitsch Borodarenko. They went by car ( Opel Cadette Kombi, license plate BN 260 A ) to go to Poltawa / Ukraine (where they are originally from).
They had visited Oxana´s aunt and wanted to drive home via Berlin-Frankfurt / Oder -Warsaw-Brest.
After a 6-hour-drive Oxana called her aunt in Bonn from a gas station. She wanted to call again when they had reached Frankfurt/Oder but she never did. She was never heard from again.
